8 runners and walkers took part in the National Capital Race on May 28th, 2006 for The Isaac Foundation.
Total pledges reached $8800.
Thank you to Julia Fry and her friends, who held a fundraiser at a bar for The Isaac Foundation in spring of 2006.
They raised $525!
Huntington Park School chose The Isaac Foundation as the recipient of Dress Down Friday donations from staff.
Carlee Maxwell requested donations to The Isaac Foundation instead of presents at her 2nd birthday party. Thank you Carlee!
Cindy Clitherow also asked for donations to the foundation for her 30th birthday – thank you Cindy!
RONA Campbellford staff have taken up a collection, held a charity BBQ, donated 5% of their sales on Saturday June 10th, 2006, and continue to sell our message bracelets and keep a collection jar at the front counter. In total, they have already raised over $3350!
Julia Beck took up a collection from friends and family in Germany, and raised $4100! We continue to be inspired by people’s generosity.
Our 1st annual golf tournament was held at the Inverary Golf and County Club on June 24th, 2006. Thank you to all of our sponsors, volunteers, and to Connie and Don Wowk. 21 golf teams registered, and more friends and family joined us for the dinner and silent auction. The event was a great success and raised over $20,000.
Two grade 12 girls at kingston collegiate high school choose The Isaac Foundation as the subject for their civics project. Together they raise $400 to help find a cure.
Five grade 5 girls at Winston Churchill Public School in Kingston, Ontario choose The Isaac Foundation as the subject for their “Make The World A Better Place” project. They met every Friday and worked hard to raise funds to find a cure for Isaac. In June, they presented us with a cheque for $500. Today, they are still meeting weekly and are working towards other fundraising events to support the Foundation.
The Isaac Foundation Slow Pitch Baseball Tournament was held on July 21 – 23rd. Thank you to David McFadyen and all of his volunteers for organizing this event.
Liquidation World held a Charity BBQ for the Isaac Foundation which raised $850. Thank you to Donna and Sylvia!
Janet Grace and Susan Hery, Real Estate Agents from Kingston have graciously chosen The Isaac Foundation as the recipient of 5% of all commission they’ve generated through their business. We truly appreciate their support.
Free Flow Petroleum chose The Isaac Foundation this year as their charity to receive the proceeds from their Annual Customer Appreciation Day. They raised $390 in just 2 hours! Thank you to Deb and the staff at Fast Freddy’s, Carrying Place.
Thank you to the O’Rourke family for donating $500 from The Big “E” Beach Volleyball Tournament in memory of Eric O’Rourke.
A Corn Roast and Block Party was held in Hastings, ON on the Labour Day weekend 2006, to support The Isaac Foundation. Despite the rain, Mr. G’s Backyard Restaurant and volunteers succeeded in raising over $2000.
A large contingent of runners participated in the 2nd Annual RUN FOR ISAAC! event at the National Capital Race. We were one of the DESTINATION CHARITIES at the event and raised close to $10,000.
Thank you to the Civitan Clubs of Canada for their continued efforts on behalf of The Isaac Foundation. Thus far, they have contributed over $10,000 to our organization.
The 2nd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament was a success. Again held at Inverary Country Club, we managed to raise over $14,000.
Thanks to Alesha McCabe for organizing the Isaac Foundation Softball Tournament in New Lowell, Ontario. The event was an amazing success, raising over $6,000.
Jennifer McGuire, pictured with Isaac, put together a CUTS FOR ISAAC! event that saw hairdressers donating their time and experience. Participants received a haircut in exchange fro a donation to the Isaac Foundation. The event raised over $2,000.
The Trent Hills Montessori School held a Christmas Concert and had all donations given to The Isaac Foundation. Over $200 was collected. Thanks to Lana Kelly for her support.
